Trekking Mount Rinjani
This film is dedicated to all the porters who not only carried the equipment and gears up to the crater rim of Mt Rinjani but also all our heavy backpacks too; our cook who never failed to impress us with his delicious cooking in every meal; our greatest guide in Lombok, Lepi, who helped our slightly injured photographer every step of the way. If not for his guidance and patience, she probably would not have made it to the crater rim and lastly but not the least, our business associate in Lombok, who put together an amazing team for us during our exploration at Mount Rinjani. We discovered trekking Mt Rinjani is totally different from trekking Mt. Bromo or Ijen Crater. To trek Mt Rinjani, one needs a trekking team of reliable porters, a good cook and especially an experienced guide who knows how and where to guide you up there. Without such a team, we seriously don't think we would have enjoyed our trip so much and so incredibly comfortable despite returning to our hotel extremely exhausted after trekking for a few days in the volcano. I like to thank this team who not only opened our eyes but our hearts too.
