INTRODUCTION

Welcome to
A RORNE TAN DOCUMENTARY FILM GALLERY

This is a Documentary Film Gallery depicting all the countries in South East Asia that I had travelled since 2008. I remember my first journey was to Phuket, Thailand where I spent almost a month filming all the beautful beaches, the south cape and mostly the island tours particularly Similan Islands, Phi Phi Island and James Bond Island.  It was the most memorable journey of my life. A year later, I found myself travelling to Vietnam visiting the famous heritage site, Halong Bay and met the locals. Especially the beautiful thin Vietnamese women rolling their boats at Tam Coc and Halong Bay. Followed by a subsequent journey on the next day to Cambodia, exploring the magnificient ancient Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the unforgettable Ta Phrom. From then on, my journey never stopped as I travelled further to Indonesia and became a volcano trekker for Mt Bromo, Ijen Crater and Mt Rinjani. From trekking volcanoes, I became fond of trekking mountains and travelled to Mt Huangshan, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain and the northern and coldest tip of China at Harbin for the Harbin Ice & Snow Festival not to mention hiking Hallasan National Park in Jeju Island and Seoraksan National Park in Sokcho, South Korea. These are just some of the memories that I have and will always remain unforgettable in my mind besides memories of mankind greatest discovery of the Plain of Jars in Laos; the spiritual Golden Rock in Mt Kyaiktiyo and the magical Shwedagan Pagoda experience culminating with the latest all time favourite adventurous ride in the sky, the Balloons Over Bagan across Bagan Archaeological Area in Myanmar.

I will post more documentary films as I continue to travel the world and I sincerely hope you will like what I had experienced and feel what I had felt in all these journeys in these documentary films.
